Ki & Aldebaran - Dorad & Sirius

Unlike the other dolphins living with the Neubaum family, Ki, meaning ‘life energy’, is a pantropical spotted dolphin.

Having an extremely sensitive sonar, Ki can carry out a detailed scan of a human or dolphin body, for illness or injury diagnosis. By altering his sonar frequencies and strength, Ki can provide the dolphin equivalent of various ‘hands-on’ therapy treatments, as well as heightened channelling of life energy itself.

With his calming and sensitive manner, along with his talents, Ki is the perfect physician and therapist, to look after the health and well-being of humans and dolphins alike.

A meticulous and loyal pilot whale, Aldebaran, is Kevin Hampson’s cetacean assistant.

Belonging to the order of small cetaceans, pilot whales, like most dolphins, are also capable of telepathically interacting with humans, including taking part in Chakranger operations in space, while having the same individual memory capacity of the larger whales. For this reason, they are affectionately known by humans as ‘The Archivists’. Aldebaran has an especially powerful memory and can store entire events for when Kevin is away from Pacific Chakra.

Aldebaran, meaning ‘The Follower’, was so named as a mark of the whale’s loyalty.
